Windshield washer fluid is designed to remove dirt from the front and rear windows of a car. In many modern cars, headlights are also washed along with the windows. The solution is sprayed through special nozzles and wiped off by windshield wipers.
Summer
In summer, water is used as the main component of the washer fluid. To improve the properties of the washer fluid, surfactants, a small amount of ethanol, colorants, and fragrances are added. The working temperature range is -2° .. +95°C.
Winter
Winter is a time of cold, snowfall, and abundant dirt on the roads. Due to the impossibility of using water at low temperatures, antifreeze liquids are used for washing car windows.
To produce washing liquids, mixtures of technical ethanol with water, surfactants, fragrances, and colorants are used.
Standard washer fluids produced by AUTOHIM have various freezing temperatures, depending on the alcohol content (-12°, -15°, -20°, -30°, -60°C).
To use ethanol in production, denaturing additives are introduced, making the consumption of the product as an alcohol surrogate impossible.
